Money in Motion Inc
was proud to sponsor the Ontario Khalsa Darbar 20th Annual Sports Festival.The
festival was the site of the 2008 Canada Kabaddi Cup.
The event was attended by 5000 people and was held at the Powerade Center in
Brampton.The team from Ontario Khalsa Darbar
won their semi-final match and made it to the final but the event had to be
postponed due to lightning and rain.
Prior to the onslaught of the bad weather, Carm Barberio of Money in Motion
Toronto was presented with a bronze plaque commemorating
MIM"s sponsorship of the event as well as their contribution to the community.
Many of the event sponsors and attendees were Money in Motion clients.
Along with MIM, some of the other 'VIP's in attendance were the mayor of
Brampton, the counselor from Mississauga/Streetsville
along with the executive committee and advisory board of the Ontario Khalsa
Darbar.
The day was very entertaining and fun was had by all.
We look forward to next year's event.
